Avalanche is committed to fostering the innovative and unconventional voices in the Chicago theatre community, by developing new plays and playwrights. Through a series of workshop readings and feedback sessions, we hope to foster the growth of new plays in a constructive and encouraging environment, and to offer a platform for new playwrights to have their work seen.

We are specifically looking for plays that will benefit from a development process.

 

We only accept plays from Chicago-area playwrights at this time.

• A 10 page sample of your script 

• A brief, 3-5 sentence synopsis

• Character breakdown
