David Cerda
Pussy
David Cerda (Pussy) is the Artistic Director and co-founder of Hell in a Handbag Productions. They've written and performed in over 60 productions with Handbag since 2002. He's also played around the town with A Red Orchid Theatre, Facility, Court, A New Colony, and Sweetback Productions. Cerda is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from Joseph Jefferson Committee and was inducted into the Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame in 2016 for his artistic and philanthropic efforts in Chicago. Maddy Brown
Dramaturg
Maddy is a Chicago based dramaturg and actor. She was most recently the dramaturg and assistant director for Avalanche's production of Time is a Color and the Color is Blue and understudied in Strawdog's The F*ck House. She has also worked at Remy Bumppo, Jackalope, Steep Theatre, and Collaboraction and is Avalanche's Assistant Literary Manager. maddyjbrown.com

McManus
Associate Director
McManus (she/her) is a theatre artist, director, and bodyworker from Chicago. She is an ensemble member of The Impostors Theatre Co and regularly collaborates on their Footholds anthology production (dir. credits include Leave Only Crumbs, lost & found, Narrative Machine Broke, and The Devil Taketh). She directed the first staged reading of RE(VULVA) as part of INC., the new work incubator project produced by Theatre L’Acadie and Pocket Theatrics.

Owen Hickle-Edwards

Owen Hickle-Edwards is an actor, writer and filmmaker based in Chicago, IL. Originally from High Point, North Carolina, he has been involved in the creation and development of various artistic and community projects in the city for twelve years, including work as Avalanche Theatre's Literary Manager. Avalanche Development credits include Time is a Color and The Color is Blue, Grape Leaves, They Broke Up, Infinity Burns, Homunculus, and Gut.

Ronee Goldman
Fanny
Ronee (she/her) is a Chicago based improviser and actor. Originally from Maryland, Ronee moved to Chicago after receiving her BFA in Acting from Ithaca College. Ronee is a Resident Artist and Director of Development with Two Chairs Theatre Company. She performs in improv groups such as Trigger Happy and Juicy Improv throughout the city.

Samantha Hurley
Playwright
Samantha Hurley (she/her) is a playwright and comedy writer based in Chicago, originally from Maine. Her debut play, I’M GONNA MARRY YOU TOBEY MAGUIRE, premiered Off-Broadway at Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theatre to critical acclaim and a sold-out run, before making its London debut at Southwark Playhouse. The play is published by Concord Theatricals and was named one of the Drama Book Shop’s top titles of 2024. Her short play, LINCOLN LINCOLN LINCOLN LINCOLN was a part of Impostors Theatre Co's Footholds Vol. 6. Her work has been featured in Teen Vogue, Interview, and Pleaser Magazine, with original sketches performed at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and Character’s Welcome. Her plays have been developed at Nancy Manocherian’s the cell, Pocket Theatre VR, Theatre L’Acadie, and Two Chairs Theatre Co.

Tyler Struble
Director
Tyler Struble is a director, dramaturg and producer. They have previously collaborated with Samantha Hurley in the development and subsequent premieres of her play, I'M GONNA MARRY YOU TOBEY MAGUIRE, Off-Broadway at Nancy Manocharien’s the cell theatre and Off-West End at London’s Southwark Playhouse. Recent credits include director for THIS DRY SPELL (Regular People, NYC), THE QUIET PART (Freshly Brewed at The Understudy, Chicago, IL), SHARON (A Red Orchid Theatre A Taste of Red Series, Chicago, IL), EDITH CAN SHOOT THINGS AND HIT THEM (Kitchen Theatre Company, Ithaca, NY), assistant director for SIX MEN DRESSED LIKE JOSEPH STALIN (A Red Orchid Theatre, Chicago, IL), AESOP'S FABLES (Mudlark Theatre, Chicago, IL), and dramaturg for WHAT THE CONSTITUTION MEANS TO ME (Hangar Theatre, Ithaca, NY). Wyatt McCall
Wesson
Wyatt McCall is a local artist, performer director and co-founder of The Olde School Shakespeare Collective. Previous credits include Julius Caesar, Taming of the Shrew, Measure for Measure and Twelfth Night at The Olde School Shakespeare Collective, Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet at The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcast and Ring of Fire: The Johnny Cash Musical at Maples Repertory Theater, Wonderland: Alice’s Rock & Roll Adventure at Metro Theatre Company, and A Christmas Carol at Arrow Rock Lyceum Theater. Wyatt attended the Sergeant Conservatory of Performing Arts at Webster University in St. Louis, MO.
